Banana Bread

1-2 C Shortening
1 C sugar
2 Eggs
3 ripe bananas
2 1/2 C Flour
1 t Baking Powder
1 t soda
pinch of salt
1 t Vanilla

Bake in loaf pans 1 hour @ 350 Degree

  1. Next time you make this, add some cinnamon or something. Its kind of bland.

  2. I just made this, but did 1/4 C margarine and 1/4 C sour cream and added 3/4 C bran. You're right, it is bland. I think zucchini bread is better if you're going to put forth the effort to make something like this.
